Burgers & Beers Kokopelli

Kokopelli has juicy burgers at a moderate price (~1500 to ~2500 yen) depending on the type of burger you order. The patties are twice the size of one you'd get at a fast food place. The flavors were mostly on point. The fries were okay, but the burgers were the star. The patty in particular had an interesting cook where it would stay steaming even after 20 minutes. The service was nice. The owner is fluent in English if you have any questions and makes bulk burgers quickly even if you are in a group. The owner was the only worker I noticed on a weekday night. Atmosphere was like an old American bar you'd see from the movies. Primarily a bar set-up. There are 2 tables in the back for parties of 4. I would come back because the patty of the burger was cooked well, juicy and flavorful.

If you want a delicious burger in Osaka, you need to come here. We had the Mac and cheese burger and the Kobe beef burger. Both were amazing and a good price for the quality. Would absolutely come back here!

Best burger we had in Japan! Really, really tasty! It‘s only the owner who works there but we didn’t have to wait long before our delicious burgers arrived. The pictures on the menu are not that good, but believe us they‘re yummy.

Lovely little place off the busy strip of Ōsaka. I had the mac and cheese burger and it was bloody lovely. My husband had the “standard” cheese beef burger. Really nice burgers. Was a little quiet inside so not much atmosphere but lovely none the less. Chef was fab. Would recommend if you wanted something different.

For two weary travelers in need of a good burger fix this place was amazing. The owner is also the chef and the burger was cooked perfectly not too greasy just the right amount. 10/10

Exceeded all expectations. Burgers are prepared in front of you and taste delicious. Great selection of beer. Staff is attentive. It doesn't look like much from the street, but definitely give them a try!

Seriously, if you’re in the hunt for a really tasty burger in downtown Osaka: do not look any further than this truly charming joint. Top marks. PS: the burgers are not that frightening large. So, if you’re North American, you may want to order two. ;) Great German and Japanese smoked beers on the menu, too.

One of the best burgers I’ve ever had! There were offerings of some more “normal” style burgers, but I opted for a unique Mac n’ cheese version with jalapeños. Everything was delicious! The fries were perfectly crisp, bun soft and fluffy, and the flavor of the meat with incredible. 10/10 recommend!
